Jake Transportation Inc is currently seeking experienced and reliable Owner Operators to join our team. As an Owner Operator with Jake Transportation Inc, you will be responsible for transporting freight on assigned routes while ensuring full compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport goods on assigned dedicated routes
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and delivery documentation
Ensure cargo is properly secured and meets safety regulations
Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies
Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents in a timely manner
Requirements
Valid CDL with a clean driving record
Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving experience required
Valid DOT Medical Card
Must pass DOT drug screening and background check
Strong knowledge of road safety and DOT regulations
Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule
Own a well-maintained and DOT-compliant tractor
Current ELD system in use (or willingness to comply)
